The goal of the youth program is to introduce the sport of triathlon in a way that encourages lifetime participation and health with an opportunity to pursue a high performance racing if the athlete desires. Age groups are a loose division based on skills, emphasis is on safety and encouraging athletes to reach their goals. Practices are usually held Kailua District Park and/or Kualaka’i.

Grouping: 8-10 years; 11-13 years; 

Youth Beginner Training

This registration is for first time athletes only and Sunday practices only.  It is designed to teach the basics of triathlon to first time participants.  

Youth Returning Training (Sundays Only) 

This registration is for athletes that have completed beginner training and looking to continue participating in triathlon with training once a week.

Youth Returning Training (Multiple Days/Training Peaks)

This registration is for the more experienced athlete looking to move to the next level of triathlon.  It includes practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as well as training peaks workouts for each week.
